 A bulk carrier vessel, also known simply as a bulk carrier or bulker, is a type of merchant ship specifically designed to transport unpackaged bulk cargo—items like grains, coal, ore, cement, or similar loose cargo—in large quantities.  

  An Tanker is a type of cargo ship designed specifically for the transport of liquid bulk cargo, such as crude oil, refined petroleum products, or chemical substances. These tankers are crucial for the global trade of energy and industrial chemicals.  

 A container vessel, or container ship, is a type of cargo ship specially designed to carry standardized shipping containers (TEUs or FEUs). It plays a central role in global trade and logistics by transporting manufactured goods, electronics, clothing, machinery, and more. 

 A General Cargo Vessel is a type of ship designed to transport diverse types of cargo, often in packages, crates, pallets, or drums, and sometimes even vehicles or machinery. Unlike bulk carriers (for loose bulk) or container ships (for standardized containers), general cargo vessels are more flexible and usually carry mixed or irregular cargo.
